The Alliance team brings EJP’s normally external focus into the law school, by advocating for it to be a more inclusive, equitable and accessible space. This recognises that EJP’s mission to improve access to justice starts in our own environment, and an accessible profession relies upon accessible and diverse law schools.

In the past, this team has delivered a mentoring programme for Part I law students, based on providing pastoral care and fostering a sense of community in a competitive environment. They have also co-delivered a panel event about Social Justice Lawyering with our Community team, and have collaborated with law school equity groups including the South Asian Law Students Association.
